Oatmeal pancakes

Inspired by Alyssa, this morning I made some Oatmeal pancakes. I've read several times that oatmeal is good for your brain. Just what I need now I'm studying for exams. There's no harm in trying and it tasted delicious.

Mixing half a melon

Since we didn't ate any fruit in Barcelona, I now crave for fruit. This morning I made melon popsicles: I mixed half a melon, added Lipton Green Tea with Citrus (I needed some fluid to get the melon mixed and this was the best option nearby) and fresh lemon juice. After filling the mold I mixed the rest with a frozen yoghurt popsicle and got a fresh smoothie that way.

Sugarfree

I made sugar free cookies following this recipe. They were done in half an hour. I didn't want to test if our mixer was capable cutting the nuts, so I just took a clean towel and crushed the nuts with a rolling pin. They may not be as fine as Riet got them, and I didn't make time for perfect smooth cookies, but I'm a fan of this recipe. Yes, I'm a lazy person.

Milkbread

I baked a milkbread following this recipe. I was too lazy to make a fine braid. Because the bread is sweet, this is delicious with fresh sour berries. De-li-cious!

Pasta: first attempt

Le voyage créatif wrote down some thoughts about eggs and shared a recipe to make pasta. Five days later I bumped into another recipe for pasta on Fig & Fauna.

When I broke the eggs, I instantly knew I will be doing this often in the future. I love easy recipes.

Eierkoek

Google translates eierkoeken into pancakes. In my opinion an eierkoek is totally different from a pancake. I would call it a "Eggbiscuitcookiething" if I had to translate this word.

Today I used this recipe to bake a thin eierkoek. The original eierkoeken are thicker, but these ones filled my stumach pretty well too.

The second photo is why you should never put hard things near a working mixer. The fork bent around the whisks and in that second the mixer and fork both got messed up.
